Nope. Not going in to work today. The RCMP is advising against highway travel and numerous highways and roads are closed. Heck, even the snow-ploughs were pulled off the highways east of the city last night due to complete white-out conditions. Could I have made it in to work today? Maybe. Should I try? No, not worth the risk. I called my manager and his van is high-centered on a snow drift a hundred feet from his house. He told me his front wheels are off the ground! By looking thru my front side window with a flashlight I can see the snow is drifted half way up the stairs into the old mobile home. I'm sure I'll be shoving the front coach door open to get out once it's daylight. This was a big storm. I'm nice and warm. I will post pics of my winter wonderland a little bit later.
