A short update post tonight. Someone should have bet me money after that last post. It went to -30 that night but no colder. It is still cold here though. As I write this it is -26C. All I've really been doing is cutting down dead trees and burning them in the wood stove. I have to drag the big sled full of wood home by hand though as the old Cat is still stranded in the bush. It's been too cold to really do anything about it. My brother Scott and I have been discussing how to make my stove/heat tunnel set-up more efficient. I want to be able to confidently heat overnight with it but at the same time be able to really damper it down to slow down it's huge wood consumption. We came up with a fairly simple and cheap way to do that. I bought some more ducting today and will start working on that in the next few days or a week. I'll be posting with pics as I modify my set-up.
