We then strung the tubing out in a line down the driveway and secured the wiring along it's length. Then we tied the top end of the tubing and well-head piping to the front of my Ranger. I slowly crept the Ranger forward in 4wd Lo range as Scott fed the new pump and well tubing down the well.

Scott wired up a cable to the pump circuit in the old mobile home back bedroom and we then connected it to my gas genny.

The first water from the well. It got real dark really fast. The flow was weak at first but then strengthened.

We ended up jerry-rigging my two long macerator dumping hoses to the piping and running water out into the grass a little ways away. The new pump seems to pump water faster than the well can recover. We're going to monitor it and experiment with it in the next few days. If nothing else it will be ok water for showers and using the toilet in the old mobile home. I'll keep you posted.
